This project consisted of the installation of 1800 steel H-Piles. Commerce Construction utilized (2) Junttan PM 20 pile rigs, and (2) conventional crawler cranes to install the piles. Most of the pile installation was completed inside the working refinery unit. The piles varied in length from 70-80 lineal feet and many piles were spliced together due to the low overhead conditions. The project lasted approximately 4 months and was completed ahead of schedule, and without a safety related incident.
