Commerce was contracted to repair 105 timber piles with rebar reinforced fiberglass pile jackets for the Cape Henlopen Fishing Pier in Lewes, DE. All repairs were performed by construction divers. The purpose of the repairs was to prevent future corrosion and strengthen the existing piling. Commerce worked with the DNREC representatives to complete the project ahead of schedule and the pier was reopened for the labor day activities at the park.
